At the International School Mainfranken, we know: Sport is much more than just movement. It promotes health, self-confidence, and team spirit – values that stay with our students for life.

In our modern gymnasium and spacious outdoor areas, we provide the perfect environment for a wide range of sports and activities. From ball games and athletics to gymnastics – here, students can discover their strengths and grow together.

A permanent part of our program: Swimming in PE. Starting in Early Entry (age 5) and continuing through Grade 10, our students learn to move confidently in water and improve their swimming skills.

Our dedicated teachers lead the clubs themselves, resulting in an especially inspiring and diverse selection. At ISM, we awaken curiosity and enthusiasm through regular field tripsthat allow students to experience culture firsthand and discover the world around them with all their senses.

Our excursions take students to historic cities, fascinating museums, and impressive nature projects. By visiting factories and other exciting places, they broaden their understanding of the world and spark their imagination. These experiences are not only educational but also inspiring, as they promote the joy of discovery and learning.

Community activities, such as shared trips to amusement parks or sports events, strengthen the sense of togetherness and create lasting memories. Additionally, we celebrate seasonal festivals and cultural events from around the world, helping students appreciate the diversity and beauty of different cultures. These special moments enrich school life and foster a deep appreciation for the world’s cultural variety.
